Elios Katamacerato Catarratto 2019 Sicily, Italy. Katamacerato is Elios' orange wine made from Catarratto grapes. Both on the nose and on the palate, it is intense and structured, with beautifully integrated tannins and notes of thyme, rosemary, and ripe fruit. These notes come together creating a fresh and very drinkable Sicilian orange. Pure Mediterranean essence!

Daniele Saccoletto I Tigli Bianco, Piedmont, Italy. I Tigli is a wine made from the indigenous piedmontese varieties Bussanello and Timorasso, macerated for 10 days on the skins. This zesty skin-contact white has aromas of citrus fruits such as lemon verbena, fresh red apples and ginger. It has an interesting mineral character to it; and on the palate is vibrant and crisp, with flavours of lime and pears.

Abbia Nòva Senza Vandalismi Rosso Cesanese del Piglio 2019 Lazio, Italy. 17/20 by Jancis Robinson. Senza Vandalismi Rosso is made from the grape Cesanese d'Affile. It is juicy, with aromas of fresh red berries and hints of countryside barnyard, smoke and fresh herbs. The acidity on the palate is vibrant, with a delicate sensation of carbonation.

Grains d'Estuaire Cuvée Emma Rouge 2019 Bordeaux, France. Emma embodies the purity of a natural wine. Made from Merlot grapes; on the nose it has notes of black fruits and candied fruit. On the palate, it is a fruit-forwarded and full-bodied wine, with a beautiful length.

Matthieu Barret Petit Ours Brun 2019 Côtes du Rhône, France. One of the most coveted, yet accessible natural wines in France, from legendary winemaker Matthieu Barret of Domaine de Coulet in Cornas. It is 100% Syrah from clay and limestone soils. Expect fresh dark berries with hints of black pepper, lavender and smoky tones on the nose. On the palate it's vibrant, tight, refreshing and with gripping tannins.

Domaine Viret Energie 2019 Côtes du Rhône, France. Advocates of the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture, the Viret family has created cosmoculture®, their particular form of natural viticulture based on cosmotelluric exchanges. The Energie is a blend of Syrah co-fermented with Muscat and Viognier. On the nose it has aromas of dark fruits, liquorice and chocolate. The palate is smooth, balanced, with soft tannins.

*Please note, this mixed case will take 7-10 business days to repack and process*

About the Winery

Abbia Nòva

Located in the town of Pilio, about thirty miles east of Rome, Abbia Nova is the project of cousins Daniele and Pierluca Proietti. They farm 7 hectares of vines, mostly inherited from Daniele’s father, with many of the vines being indigenous varietals to the area. Some of these vines are at least eighty years old.

The cousins follow a combination of natural and traditional methods both in the vineyards and in the cellar, starting with organic and then moving to biodynamic principles. They avoid treatments like sulphur and copper and instead use natural resistance methods that they produce themselves. Their wines are vegan-friendly and organic certified from vintage 2020 on.

Daniele Saccoletto

Amidst the rolling hills and the river Po, nestled within the forests, fields and meadows, the Saccoletto Daniele Winery sits quietly watching over their ten hectares of land spread between the towns of San Giorgio and Rosignano for over forty years. Here in eastern Piemonte they craft their wines with careful precision, honesty, and completely organic.

Each year brings something new because nature is not consistent and they are more than up to the challenge to adapt, constantly adapting to the land and the fruit of each vintage. Being outside the DOC/DOCG system, their approache often involves long maturation on the skins with natural yeasts, and hand harvesting. Certified Organic since 2000.

Domaine Viret

In a magical place steeped in history, Saint-Maurice, in the Rhone Valley. Advocates of the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture, the Viret family has chosen to employ a particular form of natural viticulture throughout their estate. Known as “cosmoculture®”, this is based on cosmotelluric exchanges. Everything is organised in such a way that both vines and wines are able draw on their own natural defences.

Work in the vineyards focuses on reorganising the magnetic field and on the application of homeopathic and naturals preparations made from rocks and plants that are often found in the vineyards. Alain, Philippe's father, built the winery on an ancient Roman site around an underground spring which they believe energises the vineyards and the winery.

“Elios” was born from the passion of these two young Sicilian friends. With a true love for their land, they joined together to develop their families’ farms and to bring them to their full potential after finishing their university studies. The farm and vineyards are located near Palermo in north west Sicily.  Along with olive groves and an apiary, they grow the native Sicilian grapes Grillo, Catarratto, Zibibbo and Nero d'Avola on their organic vineyards.

Elios prides itself on making minimum intervention, low sulfite wines with native Sicilian, organic grapes grown between Alcamo, Camporeale and Monreale; areas all located in the north-west part of Sicily. The wine making focuses on respect for the varietal, and aims to deliver an easy drinking, approachable style.

Grains d'Estuaire

Julien Bonneau, (Château Haut Grelot in the Blayais), and his friend Alexandre Lavigne, restaurateur in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer, created in 2014 a range of wines, Grains d'Estuaire, from 'a 10 ha vineyard located in Saint-Bonnet-sur-Gironde, in the south of Charente-Maritime.
