It's intensely expressed and instantly appealing on the nose showing rockmelon, fresh fig, grapefruit and lemon zest aromas, leading to a powerful palate that's filled with delicious youthful flavours. The wine offers terrific fruit purity and vibrancy, finishing long and satisfying. At its best: now 2023.

This is a lovely, calm but not at all boring Kiwi sauvignon. Really like the balance and structure which is firm without being rigid, and generous without being obvious. There is a whiff of sulphur in the background but not distracting from the melange of savoury greens - fresh dill, celery leaf, zucchini, green pepper and green pear fruit. It is medium weight, rich yet lively, with a hint of sweetness. Flavour intensity, acuity and length is excellent. Tasted January 2021

My TOP BUY white of the release! Here is a truly delicious, ripe, fruit-driven, Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that’s loaded with fresh acidity - a versatile, crowd-pleasing oyster wine if there ever was one. Extremely pale straw colour. Attractive, spicy, very gently grassy nose with lots of intense, ripe, fresh grapefruit and apple-melon puree fruit along with a touch of minerality. Dry medium-light bodied, tangy, lifted, fresh, grass-tinged, very attractive, ripe grapefruit flavours with some lemon-lime-apple-rhubarb notes along with a lingering, crisp, unoaked, mineral-tinged finish.
