A true expression of Oregon Pinot Noir! A vibrant, complex nose opens with floral, stone fruit and berry aromas - rose petal, violet, pomegranate, plum cherry, raspberry, black currant, boysenberry - that deepen with spice and wood notes - cinnamon, white pepper, thyme, vanilla, cedar, sandalwood, chocolate. Gentle oak aging adds definition supporting a delicious, harmonious balance between tannin, acid and fruit.

A pretty, versatile wine that will pair neatly with many different proteins, from salmon to pork to duck to venison, as well as earthy, and rustic vegetables, and bright-red to black fruits like cherry, cranberry, or plum.

Fresh & Lively

A to Z Wineworks was started in 2002 by Oregon wine industry veterans: Deb Hatcher (Eyrie), Bill Hatcher (Domaine Drouhin Oregon), Sam Tannahill (Archery Summit) and Cheryl Francis (Chehalem). The two couples worked in the Hatcher's kitchen to build the original blend honoured by Food & Wine magazine as the Best American Pinot Noir under $20. Recognition for A to Z wines as offering dependable quality for great value continues today making A to Z the top-selling Oregon wine brand.

The delicately coloured A to Z Oregon Chardonnay has a fresh, lively nose like fresh cut apples and distinct tropical notes (honeydew, kiwi, quince, kumquat, Meyer lemon, pineapple) and undertones of spring flowers, lemongrass and marjoram. The juicy, vibrant palate has a touch of minerality, something like wet stones drizzled with honey, and a natural fruit sweetness building length and presence. Tank aging on lees gives this wine a creamy texture and an interesting, broad mid-palate.

Pairs well with fresh, vibrant, and lively foods that sparkle with acidity like Baja fish tacos or heavier foods that need a bit of a high note lift such as roasted monkfish and trout.

With every bottle of Del Rio wine they seek to capture the essence of their history and dedication to excellence. The rolling hills, majestic landscape and wild Rogue River converge to create the optimal setting for growing superior grapes. Established in 1997, the single vineyard has blossomed under the nurturing hands of 4th generation farmers. With their blend of family heritage and farming excellence Del Rio strives to consistently provide you with the finest examples of Oregon wine made today.

A classically beautiful bright ruby color, this wine’s first impression is intense with juicy aromas of cherry, black currant and cassis. The ripe aromas are complimented with stimulating spicy notes of pepper. The wine is mouthwatering with flavors that reflect the nose. Young and tasty tannins structure and balance the mouthfeel, predicting a potential for long aging. A swirl and bit of aeration elevates the diversity of flavors and you can taste the sun of Southern Oregon.

Enjoy this ripe and juicy Pinot Noir at room temperature or chilled. Grilled steelhead smothered in morel mushrooms, fennel sausage and eggplant in romesco sauce with polenta, or a classic coq a vin would pair beautifully with this wine. Additionally, a casual spread of roasted red pepper hummus with pita chips, southern style pimento cheese, and marcona almonds also would welcome the company of this Pinot Noir.

After successful careers in the Oregon wine industry, the husband and wife team of Laurent Montalieu and Danielle Andrus Montalieu purchased an 80-acre estate to commemorate their marriage in 2000. In May 2002, they launched Soléna by bottling their first vintage of Domaine Danielle Laurent Pinot Noir and, shortly thereafter, opening a tasting room in Carlton. Soléna is the combination of the Spanish and French words Solana and Soleil, celebrating the sun and the moon, and the name that Laurent and Danielle gave to their daughter.

A bright ruby colour fills the glass. On the nose, the Grand Cuvée displays youthful exuberance with lively aromas of tart cherries, strawberries, and cranberries. While flavours of liquorice, cola, and baking spices balance perfectly on the palate. A delightful lightness allows this wine to be the perfect accompaniment to any evening or celebration. Enjoy now through 2026.

Pair with oven-baked salmon, roast pork or seared duck breast with a cherry gastrique.

The A to Z Oregon Pinot Gris is refreshing and lithe on the palate. Aromas of Meyer lemon, lemon verbena, tangerine, apricot, peach, apple, pear, quince, melon and honeysuckle add a hint of sweetness to the air around it. The weight is impeccable with perfect balance and integration hitting all points of the palate. Incredibly versatile at the dinner table with flavors of golden apple, roasted coconut, citrus and pineapple appealing to the last splash in the glass.

Seriously, this wine goes with just about everything, all the time, including nothing, which is sometimes a fine option, too.

Rex Hill Willamette Valley AVA Pinot Noir 2019

Savoury & Spicy

A legacy winery in Oregon's Willamette Valley that has been making elegant Pinot Noir for over 35 years. In 2007, the Rex Hill team joined forces with the folks behind A to Z, another tour de force in the Oregon wine scene, which has enabled this winery to focus on creating boutique wines with a commitment to superior quality. The wines made at Rex Hill are not made out of necessity, but rather a pure love of the craft.

An overtly complex and layered wine. Pretty, floral notes of lavender and violet join spicy aromas of black pepper, cedar, tobacco and Bergamot tea. Earthiness on the nose, and the accompanying fruit is on the darker spectrum: black cherry, currant, cassis and wild blueberry. On the palate, chewy tannins with a peppery spice element showing through. The finish is long, with lingering tannin and a juicy plum note.

A refined Pinot such as this will compliment classic food pairings such as poached salmon and mushroom risotto, but will also lend favour to a veggie stir fry flavoured with hoisin and Chinese five spice.

Rex Hill, a legacy winery in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, has been making elegant Pinot Noir for over 35 years. In 2007 the two families behind A to Z Wineworks took over this iconic estate.

On the nose, aromas of lemon peel, quince, whole cream, apple, pear and white flowers present. The rich palate has a silky texture with creamy flavors, hinting of toasted almonds or macadamia nuts, citrus slices drizzled with honey, as well as notes of green tea and crème brulée with caramel undertones. The wine finishes long and juicy, promising age worthiness. Very Oregonian.

This wine is amazing with shellfish and rich, creamy cheeses.
