Deep, dark purple, dense and solid to the edge. Dark plum fruit and subtle wood
spice sits alongside a slight sanguine waft and brief glimpses of cured billtong/
jerky meat and dried tobacco leaf. Rich ripe dark berry fruit combines with just a
hint of tongue coating dustiness and classic Shiraz flavour of dark chocolate and
coffee bean all then pinned in just enough by a super fine tannin structure. The
lush fruit does not let up, but keeps rolling though in waves driving long through
to the finish.

Pair this wine with grilled or roast beef especially served rare or with a pepper sauce. Also, barbecued ribs, sausages or smoked brisket or grilled vegetables. For the cooler months, this wine begs for a rich osso bucco dish.

This product is part of the LCBO Vintages program. It may take approximately 3-4 weeks to be delivered.

From vines planted '00, the vinification identical to Pramie. There is a tsunami of luscious black fruits, dark chocolate, ginger and spice, the tannins quick to mark their presence, but not envelope the fruit.

Bright and alluring on the nose with impressive concentration of fruit on palate. Very full but very fine supporting tannins. Big but balanced.

This is a single vineyard, estate grown shiraz from the Rowland Flat areas of southern Barossa. It has a very ripe, rich nose of prune, pepper, licorice and American oak vanillin and coconut. Lovely wood grain as well. It is full bodied, thick and rich with very concentrated fruit riding alcohol warmth and fine tannin. It is really big and four-square, yet balanced within its girth. The length is excellent. Tasted November 2020
