Floral & Fresh
Christian Bamberger winery is located in the municipality in the German wine-growing region of Nahe. The Bamberger family has been practicing viticulture since 1658 and Christian is now the 14th generation. After an internship in Napa Valley, studies at the University of California in Davis and a degree in business administration at the University of Mainz, he returned to his parents' winery in 2004 and has been running the business since 2007.
The Merlot grapes for this Blanc de Noir were carefully fermented and matured in stainless steel tanks. In the glass, the wine shows an impressive nose with aromas of raspberries, citrus, orange peel, almonds, roses, violets and herbs. On the palate, it has a nice, juicy fullness, fine melting , lots of freshness and elegance. The delicate flavour paired with mineral notes and a long aftertaste skillfully round off the drinking pleasure.
This Pinot Noir is the perfect pairing for sweet-and-sour pork chops and braised duck legs.
